Limited Warranty Information

The product you have purchased from Tensai or Tensai authorized dealer is free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period. This warranty extends only to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred to anyone. This warranty applies only to the products which are in cartons and are unopened on the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover non-Tensai installed components.

During the warranty period, if the Tensai product malfunctions Tensai will at its discretion, repair or replace defective parts with new parts or with reconditioned parts as its option, provided the product has not been subjected to misuse, abuse or non-Tensai authorised alterations, modifications or repairs. Reconditioned parts will be equivalent or superior in performance to new parts. The replacement part or product will assume the warranty status of the part or product replaced. Parts or products replaced under this warranty will become the property of Tensai.

When returning a product, include your original proof of purchase. Return requests cannot be processed without proof of purchase. Shipment of return product to Tensai is the responsibility of the purchaser. All expressed and implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the above period.

Under no circumstances shall Tensai be liable in any way to the user for damages, including any lost profits, lost savings or other incidental or consequential damages arising out of the use of, or inability to use, the Tensai product(s). Tensai reserves the right to revise or update its product, software, or documentation without obligation to notify any individual or entity.

Technical support and firmware upgrades for Tensai product(s) are restricted to the country/region of purchase.

We have taken utmost care to ensure the high standard material quality from most trusted, reputed and reliable international brands.

Important Notice

Please have your proof of purchase receipt to get warranty support. All defective products shall be returned with a copy of proof of purchase. In no event shall Tensai’s liability exceed the price paid for the product from direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the product, its accompanying software, or its documentation. Tensai does not offer refunds for any product.

All rights reserved. Tensai devices are designed for home or office use. Tensai cannot be made liable for any damages, loss of data or damage following thereof (including, without limitation, damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business information, or other pecuniary loss) arising out of the use of or inability to use this Tensai product, even if Tensai has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

We reserve the right to upgrade our products in keeping with technological advances.

To protect against power surges and power outages, we strongly recommend that you use power surge protection and UPS solutions suitable for your situation.

Good IT practice suggests that for your important data, please make periodic back-up copies of all the data stored on our product(s) as a precaution against possible failures or loss of the data.

IF YOUR DATA IS LOST DUE TO ANY TROUBLE, FAILURE OR MALFUNCTION OF THE DEVICE AND THE DATA CANNOT BE RECOVERED, TENSAI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE OR LOSS OF DATA, OR ANY OTHER DAMAGE RESULTING THEREFROM. PLEASE BE SURE TO CONFIRM WHETHER THE DATA HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY BACKED-UP OR TRANSFERRED.

The product you have purchased is not designed for any “Critical applications”. “Critical applications” means life support systems, medical applications, medical devices or systems etc or any other applications where product failure could lead to injury to persons or loss of life or catastrophic property damage.

ACCORDINGLY, TENSAI AND ITS SUPPLIERS DISCLAIM ANY AND ALL LIABLITY ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THE PRODUCT IN ANY CRITICAL APPLICATIONS. IF YOU USE THE PRODUCT IN A CRITICAL APPLICATION, YOU, AND NOT TENSAI, ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR SUCH USE.

What is not covered in this limited warranty?

  • Damage caused by improper installation or improper connection to a peripheral e.g. (printer, incompatible Charger/Adapter/Power Supply etc.)
  • Damage caused by an external electrical fault, an accident, power surge or physical tampering
  • Damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, water or improper maintenance
  • Data loss or corruption that may occur during repair, replacement, unavoidable circumstances, mechanical wear and malfunction of Data Storage Mediums (Hard Drives, SSD, Flash Drives, SD Card(s), Motherboard Etc)
  • Product purchased from anyone other than Tensai or a Tensai authorized dealer/distributor/retailer
  • Product purchased outside India
  • Misuse of device or data caused due to use of weak Passphrase or sharing of Passphrase
  • Modifications to product
  • Product upgraded with firmware not applicable to region of purchase
  • Non recovery of data due to lost Passphrase
  • Serial No. on the product is defaced or missing
  • Damaged supply cable(s)
  • No access to device due to lost physical key(s)
  • Normal cosmetic and mechanical wear
  • Act of god
